There are no cracks or chips. This item has been stored for a long time. Upon inspection, there was some discoloration of the gold coloring (photo 16). Otherwise, there are no noticeable scratches and it is in very good condition. We apologize for any age-related wear and tear. The wooden box has stains, dirt, and scratches. There is a chip (photo 19). The writing on the inside of the lid has been erased as shown in the photo (20). Please understand this before purchasing.
