It has been stored in an aluminum case with the lens and accessories. The focus ring (helicoid) moves smoothly. There is a small amount of dust inside, appropriate for its age. Disassembly has not been performed to prevent coating peeling. Although it is a lens from about 55 years ago, I believe there is no mold, clouding, coating peeling, or oil stains on the aperture blades. There are some scratches and scuffs.
