This is a very valuable and rare commemorative item that "tells the history of the railway," commemorating about 50 years since then. It is a commemorative item from the Ministry of Railways for the 50th anniversary of the railway. It is a paperweight made by cutting a piece of old rail. The date is engraved as "October 14, Taisho 10." ✳️It came in a paulownia box with a lid, but it was disposed of due to deterioration over time. It's been about 104 years, and the rail has gone through the Taisho, Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras, so there is some rust, but I think the condition is quite good. Please check the images.
