This is a very beautiful mottled glaze. I'm not particularly knowledgeable about ceramic techniques or glazing, but this is a rare level of perfection. The size suggests it may have been made as a small bowl or a teacup, but for us sake lovers, it's just right as a large sake cup, and also suitable for a travel tea bowl to carry on a journey. I believe it's from the Showa era. The rim has a mountain-like shape. Diameter: Approximately 8.8cm Height: Approximately 6cm The images may reflect a slightly stronger blue hue. The last two images are closer to the actual color. Sizes are approximate. The actual item may differ slightly in color from the images. There are no major noticeable flaws. There may be some minor scratches and stains.
