This is an unused stored item. I believe it is a rare item as it was produced for a short period and not many were released. I took care to store it with desiccant and prevent discoloration, so it is as beautiful and matte silver as when purchased. Approximately 12cm square. It would be good for Japanese sweets and other confections, as well as for those who enjoy Chinese tea, as a place to put a teapot or lidded bowl. It can also be displayed like a decorative tile. As I don't have many and haven't had the chance to use them, they have been carefully wrapped and stored away. When viewed directly from above, it is uniformly beautiful, but there are some unevennesses in the silver glaze depending on how the light hits it. This appears to be due to the manufacturing process. It was originally expensive due to the silver glaze and colored enamel.
