This is from when I visited the Utou Shrine in Aomori, and it's a cute gourd-shaped amulet for health and longevity. ⭐️Deities⭐️ The shrine enshrines the three Munakata goddesses: Tagiribime-no-Mikoto, Ichikishimahime-no-Mikoto, and Tagitsuhime-no-Mikoto. It also appears in the world of Noh and Joruri. Rebuilt in 807 AD by Sakanoue no Tamuramaro, it is designated as the general guardian of Aomori City (former prefectural shrine) and is considered the birthplace of Aomori City. There are stone monuments of Matsuo Basho's haiku, the end of the Oshu Kaido road, and the Noh song "Utou." #amulet #spiritual #japanese #spiritual
