The 1980 Moscow Olympics were boycotted by the United States, Great Britain, France, West Germany, Italy, Japan, and others in protest of the Soviet Union's (now Russia's) invasion of Afghanistan, making these pin badges very difficult to obtain. These are very valuable pin badges that I obtained through an acquaintance. I have kept them carefully as part of my collection, but they are over 45 years old, so while the pins themselves are in a beautiful condition, please understand that there may be scratches and discoloration due to aging.
