Thank you for viewing. This is a 1910s-1920s French 4-button sack coat. Made of a slightly napped dark gray wool-linen flannel, the rustic texture of the fabric gives a sense of the old era. It features a small tailored collar with a closed neckline, a 4-button closure with dark bone buttons and a rounded front hem, no vent, slanted chest pockets, a change pocket on the right waist, and a thin black moleskin cotton lining with fine stitching to secure the linen core. Well-made inner pockets with button-closure triangular flaps are located on both sides of the chest. There are some areas with slight surface fuzzing and old darn repairs where small tears in the lining have been sewn up, but considering the age, it's in quite good condition, and items in this color are very rare. This is a well-made, old garment that is becoming increasingly difficult to find, so please consider it. Shoulder width 44cm, sleeve length 60cm, body width 52cm, length 71cm.
