This is a "Five Shrine Pilgrimage Commemorative Bookmark" given to those who receive the goshuin (red seal stamps) from all five shrines at Togakushi Shrine. It is a commemorative item for those who have visited all five shrines of Togakushi Shrine: Okusha, Chusha, Hokosha, Kuzuryusha, and Hinomiko-sha, and collected their goshuin. The surface of the bookmark features the Gouou Houin (sacred seal) of the Kuzuryu Okami (Nine-Headed Dragon God). It can be used as a bookmark by placing it in your goshuin-cho (red seal stamp book). This is the old design, not the new woven pattern released for the Year of the Snake in 2025. Although it is not widely sold, I think the more complex design is cooler than the current one.
