I purchased this several years ago to make song memos, but I hardly used it and it's been in storage. I took it out recently and created drum patterns and bass parts using the built-in functions. I recorded vocals and chorus with a live guitar, bass, and condenser microphone, and then mastered the tracks. I burned and finalized the result onto a CD-R, and it played perfectly on both a CD player and a car stereo. The sound quality was excellent, and everything worked well, so I was considering keeping it. However, the HDD suddenly stopped working. I couldn't get it to boot up. I thought about replacing the HDD, but I didn't have the right one at the time, so I gave up. The HDD is a common type still in use today, so you should be able to find a used one.
