Purple glazed Hoju incense container made by Ryota Higaki, the eldest son of Aoko Higaki. Size: Diameter approx. 4.5cm, Height approx. 5.2cm. An introduction to Mr. Higaki is featured on page 293 of "The Master Craftsmen and Artists of Tea Ceremony Utensils." This is a new, unused item, and the wooden box is also in beautiful condition.
