Sanz has selected "Lesser-Known Short Pieces" from Granados' numerous piano works, introducing pieces with a diverse beauty like jewels. The album begins with "Andantino Espressivo," a piece with a rich melody, followed by "Tales of Youth" (the title "Recuerdos" means memories, and is taken from the 7th track "Recuerdos de la infancia" in this collection), "Scenes of Childhood" filled with nostalgia, and "Six Expressive Etudes in Simple Forms" and "Sketches," which seem playable even by small children.
