There are no stains or other blemishes, but upon close inspection, there is some fuzziness on the embroidered areas. Please also check the photos of the reverse side. One of the clips is broken. I was using it as a blanket clip, so it wasn't a problem, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. I received this as a gift, so I don't know when it was purchased.
