This is an unsewn fukuro obi (formal obi). 100% silk. It was given to me by my mother, who loves kimono, but it is unsewn. It seems to be dyed with hinoki (Japanese cypress) chips. It has a very dignified feel, but the color is simple, so I think it can be matched with any kind of kimono. The cost of sewing a fukuro obi is not that high. Also, I think it would be wonderful to remake it into something else. Please understand that this item has been stored at home. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection.
