Personally, I feel a slight graininess, but the rotation is smooth and good. The feel when reeling may vary depending on the person, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to this. Apart from three spots of plating lift on the lower body, I think it's in very good condition for its age. I just spooled it with 200 meters of Seaguar 8-braid 1.2号.
