This item was acquired over 20 years ago from someone in Denmark. I used to collect religious items. I am selling it now as part of a decluttering effort. It is a French antique brass plate. The scene of John the Baptist from the Bible is finely engraved on it. It's one of my favorite plates. There is text engraved on both sides. I wonder if it was meant to be attached to something? You could probably hang it on a wall with a pin. It's small, but it has a lot of character! Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect item, as it is old.
