This is a Yamanaka-nuri lacquerware bowl. It features a beautiful black and vermilion split color scheme with a rich tea flavor, and a graceful view of cloud and cherry blossom and maple leaf makie (sprinkled design). While having a relaxed size, it has a thin and light construction that makes the most of the sturdy wooden base. It is in very good condition, having only been stored.
