Shimano Cardiff AX S60SUL-FF Area Trout Rod Area Trout Rod Popular model, the red Cardiff I purchased this rod used two years ago as a sub-rod from a certain yellow shop. The cork grip was in good condition. I've taken it on fishing trips about 10 times as one of several rods I own. I used it with a rod stand. I haven't used it recently and have been storing it for a while. This is a flexible rod that bends throughout, making it easy to cast light lures and less likely to lose fish after hooking them. It has moderate stiffness, allowing for both hooking and setting the hook, but I personally felt it was a good rod for crankbaits and other moving baits. It also has decent butt power, so I was able to fight relatively large fish with it. Originally, the reel seat has a cork grip, but when I bought it, it was in good condition with almost no blackening or cork missing, so I wrapped it with heat shrink grip for protection. There was a thin horizontal crack in the epoxy of the butt guide and the guide above it, so I had the crack repaired and filled recently before listing it for sale. I don't see any cracks in the guide rings. There are minor scratches and signs of use, but there are no other noticeable scratches or damage, and I think the overall condition is good.
