This is a set of three extremely thin mekugi (peg) made by processing cooking chopsticks. The diameter is approximately 3 to 6 mm, and the length is approximately 4.3 cm. You can fit the mekugi by simply inserting them into the mekugi hole and cutting off the excess, but some adjustment may be necessary as they are pre-made. We received requests saying, "The mekugi material is too thick, and it's troublesome to process," so these are for swords with special small mekugi holes, when the mekugi hole in the tang and the mekugi hole in the hilt are slightly misaligned, or for temporary mekugi during processing, etc., when thin mekugi are needed. Since they are thinner than regular ones, do not use them for iaito (practice swords) or tameshigiri (test cutting swords) that require strength.
