This is a set of Montbell Alpine Goggles PL and a replacement photochromic lens. The original lenses were polarized, but they have been replaced with photochromic lenses. The photochromic lenses have been used twice since purchase. The lens darkness changes depending on the amount of UV light, so you can use just one photochromic lens in any condition. For extremely bright, sunny days, using the polarized lenses will make it easier to see. There are some minor scratches on the lenses from use, but they are not scratches that will interfere with use.
