This is a book by Hiroyuki Morikawa, the third-generation owner of Kyoto's "Hamasaku," the first Itamae Kappo restaurant in Japan. It includes the history and anecdotes of the restaurant, as well as recipes for its signature dishes. It comes with an obi (decorative paper band) and an inquiry postcard, but there is some rippling (warping) due to steam exposure during use.
