The case has been replaced with a new one. Set in the Shimanto River in Kochi Prefecture in the 1950s, this film depicts the lives of the people living there through the eyes of a young boy. Based on the novel of the same name by Kyuzo Sasayama, the screenplay was written by Motomu Furuta of "Passenger: Sugisarishi Hibi." The film was directed by Hideo Onchi of "Ikitai Mou Ichido: Shinjuku Bus Hoka Jiken." Shohei Ando of "Shi no Toge" was in charge of photography.
