Made in Italy, this is a Lisa doll exclusive to Italy. Sold by an Italian toy manufacturer, although she shares the same name, she is different from the American Lisa. As she has magnetic shoes, she is similar to the second-generation Licca-chan of Japan, or Pinkish Licca-chan. However, this Lisa has a center-parted, platinum-blonde long hairstyle, giving her a European look♪ (There are also versions with a crimped hairstyle and a ponytail.) Her ears are also different from the American Lisa dolls with the sleeping eyes. Her hair is also uniquely rooted, and the overall construction is somewhat rough, adding to the charm of an overseas-made doll. Her stand does not have roses, and is a limited Italian version. The bedroom and hair salon depicted on the packaging were also sold with designs different from those of the American Lisa or Japanese Licca-chan. Interestingly, the dolls on the packaging are the American Lisa heads with their hairstyles changed, and are not the Italian dolls themselves(^^;) It is believed that the heads and hair were ultimately made exclusive to Italy. As production numbers were extremely limited and details are unknown, this doll is recommended for those who like the first or second/third-generation Licca-chan, or for research purposes. ★Condition: This is an opened item, but it is almost deadstock. The rubber in the neck and legs has deteriorated and is broken.
