These are army trousers issued to soldiers and non-commissioned officers, short trousers with a drawstring at the hem. The fabric is khaki, and they were used around the early period of the Type 98 uniform. There is moth damage throughout, and the waist ties are cut off at the base. The size is 94cm around the waist and 69cm inseam. Moth damage is visible over a wide area.
