Even for a novice, even if you don't know much about swords, I think it's an easy read. You can read it like a picture book. The right page has photos and explanations of the koshirae (sword mountings), and the left page features tsuba (sword guards) that are attached to the koshirae, displayed individually. There are no photos of the sword blades. This book is solely about tsuba and koshirae. As it was distributed to members, it may be a rare book that is not widely available to the general public. The binding is cloth, so there is some yellowing, but the contents are clean for an old book, and there is no problem with reading it.
