This Aooribe tea bowl by Mr. Kazu Yamada, whose father is a Nitten artist and whose uncle is the Living National Treasure, Jozan Yamada, is reminiscent of the famous bowls of his teacher, Mr. Tokuro Kato. The bowl features a robust form created by skillful spatula work, and a moist, melancholic glaze with depth. It is a bowl in which stillness and movement are in perfect harmony.
