Shinobue (Japanese bamboo flute) - Take-sui flute of the Shishida school. It's a 6-hon-choshi (key) flute with six holes, tenchito-tou (top and bottom wrapped with rattan) and a natural color finish! This is a Shishida-ryu Shinobue Take-sui flute crafted by the second-generation flute maker, Chuichi Ito, of the Ito Chikkan Gakki Seisakusho, who inherited the Shishida school from the late Edo period. It was made in the late Showa era, over 40 years ago. The bamboo is well-dried, and the natural color has a refined taste, resulting in a wonderful instrument with excellent sound quality and tone.
