It may sound blunt, but the Japanese-made version is more carefully and neatly sewn than the USA-made one. As expected, the six-button design looks better with a nicer collar opening and roll, so many people are looking for this style. However, the original American-made ones are quite old and scarce, so they seem to be sold at high prices. I didn't wear this much because the sleeves were a little short for me, so it's in very good condition. I have washed it, so it's not completely unused, but I don't see any stains, scuffs, or scratches.
