This is a Nagoya obi made from Nishijin-woven silk, using Karaori (a type of woven fabric). (Although the Nishijin textile cooperative has been withdrawn from, there is a quality label.) The patterned part is Karaori, woven with voluminous threads, and the background color is a pale pink. The large checkered sections feature chrysanthemum and diamond patterns, with some gold leaf accents. This is a very elegant and valuable Karaori Nagoya obi. The price includes standard Nagoya obi tailoring. The length is approximately 365cm. Please allow approximately 1 to 1.5 weeks for tailoring. Matsuba tailoring and open tailoring are available for an additional ¥5000 and an additional week. Dyeing tailoring (lining the open tailoring) is an additional ¥7000.
