It appears white in the photos, but upon closer inspection, there is a large area of black staining. It did not come out in the wash, and while it's not very noticeable from a distance, it is noticeable up close. It was easy to wear and move in, and my child loved wearing it. I would appreciate it if someone who understands that this is a hand-me-down would purchase it. (*^*)
