The highly popular Haze scale is now made of wood, allowing you to measure the Haze with the hook still attached. Depending on the rig, I've made an 8mm hole so you can measure the Haze immediately with the hook attached if you use a sliding sinker. I've also deepened the flavor by thinly applying 3 coats of 100-yen store's wooden water-based varnish maple. (Photo 1) Photos 2 and 3 show the actual color, with one coat of varnish applied.
