These are a clock and a vase with nanako-nuri lacquerware, obtained due to my work in woodworking, such as Japanese cypress and shipwright work, in this area. They were stored in a storage room, so I don't know when they were purchased, but the two were found together. Nanako-nuri is considered a particularly high-grade item among Tsugaru-nuri lacquerware. The clock is still in its box and I don't think it has ever been used, but the vase seems to have been used. Both are the same nanako-nuri, but the vase appears to have a relatively stronger black lacquer finish. The vase did not have its original box. They are practical and can also be used as interior decorations.
