Likely pure silk. Width: 30cm Otaiko section: 115cm Mae (front) section: 254cm This is a hand-painted summer obi with a pattern of pinks (nadeshiko). The clean design gives it a mature feel. I purchased it a few years ago from LUNCO. I'm selling it because I haven't had a chance to wear it. There are tears in two places on the front section, in the leaf parts. It should still be wearable if you're careful not to catch the obi締め (obi cord), or if you repair it skillfully. (Or, repair it well...) As it is an antique item, there is some overall dullness and staining, but nothing that is very noticeable. For those who understand and appreciate antiques.
