Old Kutani ware sake cup / guinomi (small sake cup) with a surface featuring Okame (a smiling woman) and a back featuring an Oni (demon) mask; an antique item. Size: Approximately 60mm in diameter, approximately 27mm in height. My father collected antiques as a hobby. Okame is depicted on the inside where the sake is poured. I imagine that when someone didn't want to drink, they would turn it over to show the Oni mask on the back. There is red Kutani lettering on the chin of the Oni mask on the back. One of Okame's eyebrows is missing on the front, and there is a black spot on her cheek, like a beauty mark. I believe this is an initial defect. Please check photo 4. The exact age is unknown.
