Miyazawa gi-bu SH Serial Number: 56279 Head joint: Silver Body and foot joints: Silver-plated Comes with a genuine Miyazawa hard case (scuffs and scratches present, photos 17, 18) This is the gi-bu series, a famous model that was the basis for Miyazawa's current Atelier series. This flute was made when Miyazawa's factory was located in Asaka City, Saitama Prefecture. When I acquired it, there was dirt and tarnish on the keys. There are no noticeable scratches on the body or keys. Upon close inspection, there are small dents on the body (photos 11, 13). Please check the photos and make your judgment. After acquiring it, I disassembled and inspected it, cleaned the body and keys, and polished them. I also checked the condition of the pads. There is some discoloration of the pads due to age, but I did not find any wear or tears. During reassembly, I applied key oil and made adjustments. I did a simple sound check. I am selling it because I have too many flutes. I am not an advanced player, so I cannot check the sound of all scales. Please have the key and pad balance adjusted before using it.
