Yamaha FG-180 Light Green Label, Cleaned, Rare Light Green Label from before the Red Label transition. Original parts, Yamaha genuine hard case included. Despite being plywood, it has a wonderful sound. The action is high, but there's saddle height, so it seems the action can be lowered a bit more. The neck has a slight back bow on the 6th string side, and a back bow from the 1st to 7th frets on the 1st string side, with a forward bow after the 7th fret, a compound issue. The bulge around the bridge isn't too bad, and the truss rod turns, but the action is lowered at the nut. It seems a nut replacement and action adjustment are needed. 12th fret action: 4mm on the 6th string, 4mm on the 1st string. The frets seem to have been leveled quite a bit, with about 50% life remaining at the most worn spots. There are several sticker burn marks on the top of the body, and the pickguard is lifting. It's in better condition than I've seen in the past, but I don't think it's a JUNK item. Please purchase if you understand the appreciation value of a rare instrument or as a repair project.
