This is a set of souvenir plates from a sumo wrestling box seat that I found while cleaning out a relative's house. It includes one large plate and five small plates. My grandmother apparently went to sumo wrestling matches often in the Showa 40s to 50s (1965-1975). Sizes: Small plates approx. 12cm, Large plate approx. 22.5cm Made by Wakao Shoten in Tajimi City. I am also selling another identical set of plates. This set was still wrapped in wrapping paper. I unwrapped it to check the contents. The wrapping paper was severely deteriorated and has been discarded. Although it is a new, unused item, it has been stored for a long time.
