My son fell in love with this and bought it over 10 years ago at a brand select shop in Harajuku. The underside of the collar (photo 6) is cool black synthetic leather, but there is some deterioration due to age. When you fold the collar down, it won't be visible, so I think you can wear it without any problems. From the time of purchase as used clothing, there was quite a bit of fluffing due to the flannel material, but the black pearl print on the back shows almost no peeling and looks very cool. Due to amateur inspection, there may be other scratches or stains that I have not noticed.
