Extremely rare, this is a used, beautiful condition Yamaha Alto Saxophone, the first custom model YAS-855. While Yamaha's custom saxophone models are now known as the 875EX and 82Z, this instrument is the original custom model, the YAS-855. The M1 neck, which was equipped on the initial models, is included. There were two custom models made using the manufacturing techniques of the time: this 855 and the 875, which continues to be produced today. The design appears similar to the YAS-62, but its tone produces a deeper, sweeter resonance. The overall balance has been adjusted by Ishimori Gakki, so you can start playing it immediately. I've owned it for over 20 years as a secondary instrument, but I'm selling it because I have fewer work opportunities and rarely use it. The tone is wonderful, and it's a well-balanced, excellent instrument! There are almost no scratches, and the paint is beautiful. The body, neck, and the BAM case in the photos are included.
