Please message me before purchasing! Aquascutum Trench Coat Purchased approximately 20 years ago from a department store in Japan for around 180,000 yen. It has a very nice vintage feel. The entire surface is faded to a whitish color. The sleeves, belt loops, and pocket openings are frayed. (This is where the belt's D-ring hardware tends to rub and wear.) The reattached shoulder and back buttons are probably not original. The belt has broken threads, snags, and tears. The fabric is slightly torn where the bottom back button and shoulder buttons were, as they have come off (this is not visible when the buttons are fastened). The bottom back button is too large and does not fit into the buttonhole. One of the shoulder belts uses a separately purchased one. The chin strap was removed without being used, but it has turned white. It smells like my closet. The leather parts of the arm belts and belt buckles are relatively clean. The hardware on the attached belt is leather-processed. There are belt loop holes on both sides (where the belt is inserted when not fastened). Size 34 Black (faded) Cotton Length 106 cm Sleeve length 60 cm (seems to be a dropped shoulder design) Chest 55 cm Accessories Belt (width 5.3mm, with D-ring) 1 Shoulder straps 2 Arm belts 2 Chin strap 1 I will compress it strongly and pack it small. The trench coat was born as a military cold and waterproof coat during World War I. Although it is now a popular item as a casual adult coat, it was Humphrey Bogart, the actor known as "Bogie," who first defined its stylish image. Bogart, who established his status as a hard-boiled star through film noir such as "Casablanca," often appeared in trench coats in his movies, which ignited the popularity of this coat. He often wore trench coats in private as well, and they were basically all Aquascutum.
