There, a turf war is waged between the black gang led by Victor Duncan (Michael Wright) and the white gang led by White Zack (J.J. Cohen). With the police and other apathetic teachers unreliable, Rick's only strong ally in trying to rebuild the school is Jake (Louis Gossett Jr.), the security guard. Rick's thorough purification campaign seemed to be working, but he is once trapped and beaten, his beloved motorcycle is wrecked, and the female teacher Orozco (Rae Dawn Chong) is raped. Emile (Troy Winbush), who tried to leave Victor's group, is also found hanging from the ceiling, covered in blood. Finally, Rick's patience runs out...
