This is a true early model, with some molding on the internal AC adapter. The footswitch also has a handwritten serial number. The early models had blue wiring with red for the footswitch, but this one has a different footswitch specification, a two-digit period that doesn't exist in the three-digit period, packed with the history of the early production. The sound is a characteristic early model, with a restrained compression feel, a dry sound, and a high degree of separation and resolution, similar to vintage TS-series and vintage effectors. ^_^b A true once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!! 『Product Introduction』 No explanation needed, this is a fantastic sounding effector that anyone who likes TS-series sounds will want to put in their top 5 alongside vintage TS effectors!! If I were to hold a booster final tournament, I would bring vintage TS808, TS9, TS10, Goki-buri Soul TS5, and for some reason, the early BB Preamp and early Crowther Audio Hotcake, even though they don't bear the name TS, as seeded players!! LOL. And, the addition of a Bass knob, which is not found on TS, allows for low-end control, and the amp-like responsiveness that doesn't lose high frequencies when the guitar volume is turned down, as the name Preamp suggests, is truly the aura of a champion that should win the finals!! From world-renowned guitarists to professionals and amateurs alike, it's a masterpiece that you won't be able to let go of once you pick it up, as if cursed, with a B~B~ sound. The mid-range focus and the added Bass knob EQ make it possible to create thick SRV-style sound, which is amazing!! Also, the early models with flat screws were considered the best at the time, and used op-amps, clipping, and electrolytic capacitors that were secured in large quantities, so I'll say with certainty that the thick, rustic, yet dry and warm texture cannot be produced by current products!! This is definitely an effector that will increase in price over time, along with vintage TS-series and OD1, so if you've been looking for one, get it early because production has ended and the number is limited!!
