Since his debut in "Ryuko Tsushin" at the age of 24, Yoshihiko Ueda has spent 40 years facing various subjects. The diversity of subjects and the breadth of expression are characteristics of Ueda's work, including sacred forests and rivers, his own family, portraits, and architecture. For many years, he has traveled the world with his beloved Deardorff 8x10 (eight-by-ten) large-format camera, capturing the strong impressions that suddenly arise within him in the medium of photography. In addition, he has been actively involved in advertising production in parallel with the creation of art works, and is exploring his own expression within the framework of advertising photography.
