FootJoy wingtip shoes from the 70s-80s. About 20 years ago, I bought these at a used clothing store (Desert Snow) thinking, "These are cool shoes - I'll wear them when I'm old enough to suit them." Desert Snow in Niigata is now closed. The manufacturer's name on the insole is faded and almost gone. At the time, I was told they were of unknown manufacturer and made in the USA, but I've since learned they are FootJoy. The size is 8 1/2D, about 26.5cm, and the color is black. I could wear them back then (when I tried them on), but I can't anymore after storing them. It seems the D width doesn't fit me. The soles show little wear, and there are few wrinkles, so I think they haven't been worn much. There are minor scratches and scuffs on the uppers, but I don't think there is any noticeable major damage. I think it's rare to find them in good condition. Larger sizes are often listed, but this size is valuable. FootJoy is famous as a golf manufacturer, but I was impressed to see that they used to make shoes like these. I hope someone who can wear them will be interested. What do you think?
