Makabi type Yaeyama Kuroki (black wood) Front and back skin stretched New, unused, but there are some areas where the lacquer finish is dull. The sao (neck) of this sanshin is also unusual, being egg-shaped. It was probably made by the same craftsman as Daichinen Daiku. It's a unique Makabi type. The maker is unknown, but I purchased it from a sanshin shop. Daichinen Daiku too. Weight: 500 grams, that's about right. Any heavier and... I'd cry. Please be sure to read the profile.
