This is glossy genuine leather. It's large enough for a trip of about 1-2 nights. It's a beautiful item with no signs of use, but it doesn't seem to be a recent model, so I think it's been around for a few years. I purchased it a few years ago from Brandear, a used brand specialty store, for around 43,000 yen. The photos make the leather look a bit worn, but the actual leather is relatively firm and not slouchy. The metal fittings show some clouding and deterioration due to age.
