This is a MOUNTAIN W-250H made by Hayashi Gakki, made in Japan. It's an all-laminate Hummingbird model, and it's a well-made and resonant guitar. I am the second owner. A friend gave a guitar that he hadn't played for many years to his child, but the bridge cracked. My friend repaired it, but it cracked again, so I bought it and replaced and repaired it (rosewood to ebony) using a special jig and Titebond. I have already repaired 8 bridges, and there have been no problems with any of them. After replacing it with an ebony bridge, the bass response has improved compared to before the replacement. The specifications and condition are as follows: ① Spruce laminate top, ash laminate sides & back, nato neck. ② The top has scratches from playing, as well as scratches around the bridge that my friend made during the repair. (See photo 6) Considering that it was manufactured in the 70s, it is in good condition, including the pickguard design. (See photo 1) The sides have small scratches from use (see photo 5), and scratches on the back (see photo 4, lower left). The back has beautiful tiger stripes. There are also dents on the headstock. (See photos 2 and 7) The chipped left corner of the headstock has been touched up. ③ String height with light gauge strings is 2.5mm at the 12th fret on the 6th string and 2.25mm on the 1st string (see photos 9 and 10) ④ The neck is almost straight with light gauge strings, and there is no bulging around the bridge. The truss rod turns both ways. When not playing, the strings were loosened for storage. ⑤ The tuners have been replaced, and only the 4th string tuner is the same type made by Yamaha. (See photo 7) ⑥ The frets have 80-90% remaining (see photo 8) ⑦ An Epiphone soft case is included. (See photo 3) ⑧ Nut width 43mm, bridge side 1-6 string spacing 53mm. ⑨ The fingerboard and bridge have been treated with orange oil, the whole guitar has been cleaned with polish, and the strings have been replaced. I think it's difficult to see the fine scratches in the photos, but the condition is as described above, so please refrain from purchasing if you are a perfectionist. The build quality is excellent, and the sound is very well-balanced and resonant. This is a guitar made by Hayashi Gakki during the time when Mr. Momose, a luthier at Headway, was working there. The body will be protected with air padding (bubble wrap) to prevent damage, placed in a hard case, and then packed with more air padding before shipping.
