It is a masterpiece that is extremely difficult to obtain. The shell and hood are made of NYCO (Nyco), a nylon and cotton blend satin material. It comes with a removable nylon liner with padding, and the details are remarkable, such as the liner being designed to be worn alone with the front buttons fastened. It can be worn as a shell alone, a liner alone, or as a full set, and the hood can also be removed, allowing for various uses depending on the season and temperature. The hood also has a drawcord and a wire to maintain its shape, and the inside has a lining made of Melton wool to enhance heat retention. It is functionally designed to cover the neck by fastening the buttons, further enhancing cold protection. The Canadian Army's common slot buttons (parachute buttons) are used, and the front uses a brass double zipper. The waist and hem can be adjusted with drawcords to change the silhouette, and the cuffs can also be adjusted with buttons. The elbows are reinforced with double layers. The chest pockets are placed diagonally to store rifle magazines, a design characteristic of the Canadian Army.
