This is an obi (sash) for mourning wear, characterized by its high formality and the use of Nishiki (brocade) and Tsuzure-ori (tapestry weave). It is woven with three warp threads and one weft thread using traditional Nishijin-ori techniques, resulting in a soft and supple texture.
