Tameo 1/43 PENNZOIL Penske PC17 Chevy Rick Mears 1988 Indy 500 Winner This is a metal kit of the IndyCar (later Champ Car) driven by Rick Mears, a true legend in American racing, who has won the Indy 500 four times (tied for the most wins), achieved six pole positions, and won the IndyCar Series championship three times, in the 1988 PPG IndyCar World Series. This is the 1988 Indy 500 (high-speed oval) specification, where Mears achieved a rare pole-to-win victory. The markings are by Cartograf, the world's best, so the detail and color are outstanding. It has been stored separately with a desiccant, so there are no cracks or noticeable stains/damage. It is relatively good for its age, but I don't know if it can be used as is. Due to trademark issues with IndyCar, the "IndyCar" as the old CART is unlikely to be re-released or newly released, and items from that time are now very difficult to obtain, so how about it for those who were looking for metal kits from this era or IndyCar fans? The package has age-appropriate damage such as scratches and stains. It will be wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a courier compact box.
